Day 7-not masterpieces just journal!!

I am loving this quote again the Rhonna put on her blog (I really have to learn from someone how to post links!!) 'Every day you spend drifting away from your goals is a waste not only of that day, but also of the additional day it takes to regain lost ground.' It is in some of the writing on the journal page but it is too hard to see,(I really do not know how to take great photo's and do not have a scanner)
My images in my journal are just quick passionate scribbles that I do not dwell on or look back on, they are not great works, they just are what they are, and I am so grateful for even being creative right now and inspired enough to have learn this great new habit! My 4 year old now has about 10 pages done!

Day 6

It started snowing last night, hence the 'snowflake' page, today well(Sunday) we went out and played , made our wet snowman, because it really only snows here 2-4 times a year and it usually vanished the next day, so we must play shile the ground is white. The quote on the page is another great one from Rhonna 's blog 'Patience and perserverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.-John Quincer Adams' Which just confirms for me that I MUST keep art journaling to strive forward!

Day 5-passing the new habit on..

My 4 year old is loving my new Journal habit(thank you Rhonna), and wants to help me with mine! I love this and then I thought what a great good habit for me to pass on to my girls....to journal(create daily) so I gave Novalee a very nice black covered sketch book. So we will both be creating daily, although she already informed me that on the days of preschool she may not do any entries.....Monkey see monkey do, monkey act just like you!

Journal Day 4!

I love this quote for this new art journal journey!!!I have to resist the temptation of NOT creating,scribbling,coloring,writing....ect daily!

The 21 Challenge-Day 3

THIS IS WHAT I AM UP TO!
I have been challenged, inspired by Rhonna Farrer to create a new habit Art Journalling. It takes 21 bays to create a habit, and this is one I have always wanted! My journal WILL NOT be a masterpiece, but it will be soulful, spontanious, fun, and a wonderful exploration for me. I Will not dwell on it, it is simply my creative journal, and I am having FUN making it real (and my 4 year old will be in there sometimes to and I encourage that.....she could be creating a great habit as well!!!

Journaling Challenge-Day 2

Day 2 of journalling,me with baby in arms always, doing everything at once.........

Journaling Challenge-Day 1

I finally tried twinkling H2O's, Novalee got in there to! I am going to try hard to make journaling my good habit!(It only takes 21 days)

Happy Valentines !

Wow, what a beautiful day!! Happy Valentines or'Friendship and Caring Day' as said on treehouse....It was six years ago that Scott and I finally decided to get married, and it was a beautiful day just like today!(after being together for 6 years prior) It felt like summer six years ago on Valentines, and by mid day today it will again(frosty this am.)
The other day I picked up a Chinese zodiac stamp set and it came with a descriptive book inside, we read and discovered that we are best compatable with each others sign, Scott is a rooster and I am a bull.....My step-daughter is a snake as well as my 4 year old, and the baby is a rooster just like her Dad, very fun reading about it! And I know I will be havin' some fun with those stamps!
Novalee is so excited about her preschool Valentines party today!!!Her voice squeels everytime she talks about it! I am looking forward to sushi or fusilli's.......

Greater Peace!

Ahhh, my heart is at a greater peace now that my stepdaughter is back!!! Yay!! It has been a rough month with no contact from her, but she is here now and that is all that matters! Although I do think we need to work on one thing 'stuburness'..sp..I love my three girls, and when we are all together, that is what life is about!

I am going back to work in 30 days! Wow this year off has been a blur.....I am feeling so bad for Scotia to be in daycare. I will be at work for 9 hours daily, and the longest that I have left her is 2 1/2 hours!!! She is such a mama's girl and makes it near impossible for anyone to take her as she will just freeeak!(so nobody has beffed to take her) I would like to go out a bit more, painting scrapping....creating! Time is just flying!
